Polya Plamenova Pencheva is a Brussels-based journalist covering the intersections of culture, design, innovation, tourism, and policy. Her writing has appeared in Travel Tomorrow, IO+, Dispatches Europe, EUobserver, and other European media outlets.
Before returning to journalism, Polya worked as a communications officer in Brussels, gaining first-hand insight into corporate culture and strategic communication. She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Groningen, where she developed a strong foundation in reporting, digital storytelling, and audience engagement.
